MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
INVITES YOU TO ATTEND
2020 MAG MAPS & DATA WORKSHOP
_LEARN HOW TO ACCESS DEMOGRAPHIC AND EMPLOYMENT DATA FOR YOUR
COMMUNITY, THE REGION, AND THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF ARIZONA._
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
In a live computer lab setting, attendees will use the MAG map viewers
(focusing on the Arizona Demographic viewer and the Arizona Employer
viewer) found at maps.azmag.gov [http://maps.azmag.gov/] to conduct
searches for demographic and employment data at the community,
region, and state levels. MAG online data resources will also be
explored. Hands-on exercises and other handouts complement the
demonstrations and instruction and provide guidance for future
reference.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

to be valuable resources for their work and causes, particularly those
who conduct planning and community assessment for public, private, or
governmental purposes. This includes those who work in areas
of economic development, planning and development, public safety,
public health, human services, real estate, education, employment
