Join Dr. Jagdish Dave on this fun filled and interactive session on
HINDUISM ON AMERICA. Dr Dave will explore how HINDUISM HAS EVOLVED
OVER THE DECADES AND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HINDU IN AMERICA. This is
a free event, suitable for all age groups and youth is encouraged to
attend.This class is spread over ten sessions held every Saturday from
4:00-5:00PM, starting Feb 01, 2020.
KINDLY NOTE: Attendees to are requested to dress appropriately to
respect the sanctity of the Temple.
During each session select verses from the Bhagwad Gita will be
discussed.

ABOUT DR. DAVE:
Jagdish (JP) Dave’
JP was a community leader in the Chicago south suburbs for many years
before retiring to Phoenix, Arizona. He has had an enriching
educational, experiential and professional background in Eastern and
Western cultures. He was a Sanskrit scholar in India and came to the
US on a Fulbright scholarship to earn his PhD at the University of
Chicago. He also completed a Doctor of Psychology degree from the
Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He taught for many years
as a professor at Governors State University and currently splits his
time staying with his daughter in Phoenix, Arizona during the
fall/winter months and his son in Naperville, Illinois, during the
spring/summer months. He continues his private practice blending
eastern and western approaches to counseling and officiates Hindu and
interfaith marriages as a practicing Hindu priest.
