New research from Cybersecurity Ventures, predicts that women represent more than 20 percent of the global cybersecurity workforce in 2018. Cybercrime will more than triple the number of job openings over the next 5 years. Cybersecurity Ventures predicts there will be 3.5 million cybersecurity job openings by 2021, and according to CNBC, the average annual salary for a cybersecurity professional with a bachelor’s degree is $116,000.
