Our Foundations Horsemanship and Horsemanship One Programs are a
fantastic way for participants to learn the fundamental needs of a
horse, learn basic horsemanship and basic riding skills. Our prices
are all inclusive; your child gets a healthy snack, daily fun and
knowledge of horses all in one!!! Students will have a set of daily
duties at the ranch which include: morning feeding, cleaning stalls,
and care of the horse & tack. During the foundations course riders
will have a hands-on experience with the horses and learn and practice
the proper way to groom a horse, saddling and how to read horse
behavior with very little riding. During Week 2, Horsemanship One,
students will ride daily and learn the proper way to hold their reins,
steering in a straight line, lefts, rights, whoahs and walk ons.
