This July, ARIZONA SCIENCE CENTER is celebrating one of the greatest
human achievements in science – the 50th ANNIVERSARY OF HUMAN’s
first steps on the moon! Join us for an out-of-this world, two-day
CELEBRATION OF THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE APOLLO 11 MOON LANDING!
Channel your inner space-explorer with hands-on activities and
demonstrations led by the Blue Crew, our team of science (and space!)
interpreters. Spark curiosity in the next giant leap in innovation
with the collection of exhibits in Sun, Earth, Universe. Discover how
Apollo 11 inspired a nation to achieve greatness in Apollo 11: First
Steps Edition, playing exclusively in the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen

cosmic presentation in which you’ll visit each planet, explore, and
compare their features with Grand Tour of the Solar System presented
in the Dorrance Planetarium.
Family-friendly days include hands-on activities, demonstrations,
theater shows, planetarium presentations, and more! Saturday, July 20,
also features opportunities to engage with local technology and
