This July, ARIZONA SCIENCE CENTER is celebrating one of the greatest human achievements in science – the 50th ANNIVERSARY OF HUMAN’s first steps on the moon! Join us for an out-of-this world, two-day CELEBRATION OF THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE APOLLO 11 MOON LANDING! Channel your inner space-explorer with hands-on activities and demonstrations led by the Blue Crew, our team of science (and space!) interpreters. Spark curiosity in the next giant leap in innovation with the collection of exhibits in Sun, Earth, Universe. Discover how Apollo 11 inspired a nation to achieve greatness in Apollo 11: First Steps Edition, playing exclusively in the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater. Voyage through our spectacular solar system in an immersive, cosmic presentation in which you’ll visit each planet, explore, and compare their features with Grand Tour of the Solar System presented in the Dorrance Planetarium. Family-friendly days include hands-on activities, demonstrations, theater shows, planetarium presentations, and more! Saturday, July 20, also features opportunities to engage with local technology and aerospace partners like The Boeing Company, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, National Space Society of Phoenix, Siemens, and others.  The Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Celebration is proudly supported by the Richard F.
