Chef Mum FOODS IS BRINGING OUR ASIAN STREET EATS TO A BRUNCH POP UP AT
BERTHA’s Cafe on August 25th 2019! We are an eclectic mobile
restaurant currently specializing in Chinese Street Eats. We have been
serving our menu at the Uptown Farmers Market since October 2018 and
wanted to bring our menu to a "sit down" location. Dim Sum literally
means "touch the heart" and the associated Cantonese phrase "yum cha"
means to drink tea. Together, dim sum is a meal of small dishes served
with tea comprised of savory and sweet tastes from a variety of
dumplings, breads and rolls. A great family tradition, small dishes
are pushed around the room on carts, and served on round tables with
large lazy susans to pass the food. Minus the carts and round tables,
Chef Karen and her family would like to share their version of Dim Sum
with you!
