Planned Giving 102: Plan Ahead for Success

Join US for the second of three sessions in the PLANNED GIVING 100 SERIES The Arizona Community Foundation Center for Planned Giving invites you to join us for the first workshop in the Planned Giving 100 Series. PLANNED GIVING 102: PLAN AHEAD FOR SUCCESS: BUILDING A BASIC PLANNED GIVING PROGRAM focuses on simple, basic planned gifts including bequests, gifts of stock, and gifts that transfer on death, like life insurance and IRA charitable distributions. Topics will include: * Policy considerations for starting your program * Considering staffing responsibilities * Easy planned gifts you want to seek * Utilizing volunteers in your program Each session in the series costs $25 to attend; free for ACF nonprofit fundholders. The Planned Giving 100 Series emphasizes the basics of planned giving and endowment building for development staff at nonprofit organizations throughout Arizona. Workshops are led by Kristen Mihaljevic, ACF's Philanthropic Advisor, Development. Full participation in PLANNED GIVING 102: PLAN AHEAD FOR SUCCESS - BUILD A BASIC GIVING PROGRAM is applicable for 2.5 points in Category 1.B - Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
