About the event The PHX2ZERO LECTURE SERIES IS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT
BRINGS IN BRIGHT, passionate and innovative minds to speak about the
importance of sustainability and zero waste. The goal of the LECTURE
SERIES IS TO INSPIRE THE COMMUNITY TO TAKE ACTION AND BECOME
ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDS. The LECTURE SERIES IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC. This year's event will feature Bea Johnson, a zero waste
lifestyle expert. Since 2008, Bea and her family only produce one jar
of waste each year. Bea has become an advocate for living a zero waste
lifestyle and demonstrates that minimizing waste is easy, can save
money and lead to positive health benefits. Join US to learn how you
can also live a zero waste lifestyle. Zero waste event This is a zero
waste event, so please bring a reusable bottle and reusable
utensils. Refreshments will be provided. Travel There is parking at
the Burton Barr Library. However, public transit is highly encouraged.
The McDowell and Central Avenue light rail stop is right next to the
library. The event will occur in the Pulliam Auditorium within Burton
