The 1971 cult classic Harold and Maude is a beautiful film about love, death obsession and trying to find your way in life. Directed by Hal Ashby, young Harold (Bud Cort) lives a charmed life, but is obsessed with faking his death to raise the ire of his rich mom who would rather buy her son expensive cars and find a suitable wife for him then spend time with him or listen to what he needs and wants. With a soundtrack filled with wonderful Cat Stevens songs, Harold & Maude is a favorite amongst a few PHX Film Collective members.
