LDV Winery Announces Spring “Virtual Vintner and Vino” Events Throughout May

To keep the (virtual) party going throughout social distancing requirements, LDV Winery is pleased to announce new weekly events, specials and more throughout the month of May. Schedule includes: Wine Tip Wednesday — Wine lovers can now enjoy another weekly event with this quick 15-minute Facebook Live session offering a variety of wine tips — including spring wines, pairing suggestions and more. Wine Tip Wednesday begins at 4:00 p.m. (MST) throughout May. Private Virtual Wine Tasting — For those missing their regular group of wine lovers, why not let LDV Winery bring the wine tasting party “home?” With a minimum purchase of six bottles of wine, participants can invite friends and family to join LDV Winemakers Curt Dunham and Peggy Fiandaca for a private wine tasting party via Zoom. Mother’s Day — Raise a toast to Mom on Sunday, May 10 with a beautifully packaged gift set featuring a bottle of rich and intense 2018 LDV Rosé of Grenache paired with scrumptious macarons from Woops for just $5 plus tax. Pre-orders can be made by calling 480-664-4822 and curbside pickup is available from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 9 or via local delivery for an additional $5. From the LDV Winery Vineyard Kitchen — The free Facebook Live cooking and wine pairing segments throughout take place every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. (MST) throughout the month with themes as follows: May 14 — Breakfast for Dinner featuring roasted vegetable frittata, spiced sausage patties and wino potatoes paired with 2015 Grenache May 21 — Lemon Chicken with lemon orzo and fresh herbs, shaved asparagus and aged parmesan paired with 2015 Sky Island Viognier May 28 — Grilled Marinated Flank Steak (Flat Iron or Flap Steak) with piri piri sauce and Southwestern corn paired 2016 R.E.D. Saturday Steals — Every Saturday in May, Curbside wine pick-up is available with 10 percent off a purchase of four bottles or more and 15 percent off full cases.
