VETERAN HISTORY PROJECT WORKSHOP The purpose of the Veterans History
Project is to collect and preserve the oral histories of America’s
Veterans. Volunteers are needed to record the stories of Arizona’s
veterans so they may be accessible for generations to come!
Date: Friday, February 28th
Time: 9AM- 12PM
Location: 12515 W. Bell Rd. #104 Surprise, AZ 85378
The intent of this workshop is to teach you how to record the stories
of veterans and then for you to teach volunteers in your
organization/community group how to conduct the interviews. The
completed collections will need to be returned to our office so that
we may send it directly to the Library of Congress in Washington D.C.
Our goal is to collect 100 Arizona Veteran stories in 2020!
If your/your organization would like to learn how to record the
stories of a veteran in your life or community, please RSVP ! Space is
limited!
