You don't need to be a geographer to make a sweet web map to share
with the world! Build amazing web maps and apps using ARCGIS ONLINE!
Join the ASU Library Map and Geospatial Hub [https://lib.asu.edu/geo]
for this two-hour workshop on easily creating shareable web maps with
the ArcGIS Online platform.
ArcGIS Online is Esri's cloud-based mapping and analysis solution.
Through ArcGIS online, users can create interactive web maps, 3D web
scenes, and dynamic web apps that can be quickly and easily shared.
This workshop will introduce the range of functionality available via
the ArcGIS Online platform, explain the simple process by which ASU
users can easily access ArcGIS Online, and create various types of
web-enabled geospatial content for performing spatial analysis,
developing compelling geospatial data visualizations, and telling
stories with maps.
Most Map and Geospatial Hub workshops and free and open to the public.
Due to the proprietary nature of the Esri ArcGIS Online platform, all
attendees must be either ASU affiliates -or- come to the workshop with
their own organizational credentials for authorizing ArcGIS Online.
Sixteen (16) computer workstations are available in the lab (Hayden
Library Media Lab, Room 354). Alternatively, workshop participants may
opt to bring their own laptop.
