Cost of class - $72; Registration fee, due when you sign up $22; class
and materials fee, due directly to the instructor at the beginning of
class $50. Taught by Machelle Christiansen This half day class will
explore a handful of herbal teas for the needs of the coming season
and how to prepare them for the best results. Bring your curiosity,
and see how this simple way of using herbs can help support you
through the seasons of the year. Meet your instructor Machelle has
been interested in herbs ever since she can remember when she learned
that it actually meant something that Mrs. Bunny gave Peter Rabbit
chamomile tea and sent him to bed! As she grew past the age of making
teas in her Barbie swimming pool with whatever she found growing
nearby, she began to study herbs and alternative healing modalities in
earnest. This has led her on a nearly life-long journey of learning
folkways, studying with a wide variety of teachers, and personal
exploration. Nowadays you can find her with a mug in hand helping out
as an apprentice in the Village Apothecary and at home in her
apothecary that also doubles as a studio for her fiber crafts. Looking
