Come join Mountains Restoration Trust
[http://www.mountainstrust.org/] for a morning outside as we work to
restore the vegetation in MALIBU CREEK STATE PARK!We will be planting
native trees and grasses, as well as removing weeds and invasive
plants from the area. We will be planting natives like Coast Live
Oaks, Purple Needlegrass, California Goldenrod and Hummingbird Sage.
You can enter the park through the main Malibu Creek State Park
entrance, and park in the lower day use area. There will be signs to
guide you in, and MRT staff to meet you there! Bring hat, water,
snack, and sturdy shoes. Gloves and tools will be provided.
Great Fun for Kids and Families! Volunteers under the age of 16 must
be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Volunteers under the age of
18 must bring the Parental Consent Form
