Matt Groening and Lynda Barry met at The Evergreen State College when
he was editing the school paper and she was an aspiring comic artist.
A lifetime later, the creator of The Simpsons, the animated sitcom
that is now the longest-running scripted show in TV history, is still
best buds with his "biggest inspiration," the respected cartoonist and
author of Ernie Pook's Comeek fame. Groening and Barry reminisce about
40 years of friendship and creativity, aided by a homey and hilarious
slideshow of photos and comics. An audience Q&A follows their talk.
