are presented in partnership with San Francisco Opera
Our opera for today is the Barber of Seville. The music was composed
by Gioachino Rossini with words (libretto) by Cesare Sterbini. In the
story, Figaro the Barber helps two young sweethearts find their
happily ever after. Join them in a series of disguises, tricks and
comic twists and turns.
We'll start at 4:00pm before the film starts and craft opera glasses
with washi tape and markers.
Recommended for ages 5 and up.
