Keith Lockhart, conductor Music of John Williams With a storied
history that begins with the establishment of the modern-era Pops by
Arthur Fiedler and continuing through to the new millennium under the
direction of Keith Lockhart, "America's Orchestra," the Boston Pops
Esplanade Orchestra, is among the most beloved symphonic ensembles in
the country. The group celebrates the extraordinary five-decade career
of one of its former conductors, 22-time Grammy winner John Williams.
The program is sure to include selections from some of Williams' most
iconic Hollywood film scores, including Star Wars, Jaws, Superman,
Indiana Jones, and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Note: this concert is
scheduled to go on rain or shine. Umbrellas are not permitted in the
venue, so please bring other rain gear if necessary.
