Handler Best-selling author Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket) plays
host to Front Row 2017, a once-in-a-lifetime, only-at- UC Berkeley
experience! The event, created specifically by UCB students for UCB
students, celebrates and explores passion, activism, and social
justice through the lens of Handler and a few of his artist and
activist friends in an evening of lively conversation and
collaborative performance. Joining Handler onstage will be Cecile
Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and
Planned Parenthood Action Fund; Bay Area musicians John Vanderslice
and Thao Nguyen; master perfumer and scent specialist Yosh Han (who
will concoct a unique "Front Row Scent" live on stage); and
poet/editor Matthew Zapruder. Prior to the event, beginning at 6pm,
and immediately after the event, ticketholders are invited to a
transformed Zellerbach Hall lobby to participate in an interactive
environment that includes works by each of the Front Row artists.
Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages will be served in the lobby
following the event. Handler has written the best-selling A Series of
Unfortunate Events and All the Wrong Questions under his pen name,
Lemony Snicket, as well several books for adult audiences. He is also
the screenwriter for the current 2017 Netflix adaptation of A Series
of Unfortunate Events. #CALFrontRow Front Row is generously supported
