Ecstatic Dance Off

Welcome to the first-ever ECSTATIC DANCE OFF!This is an opportunity for the conscious dance community to come together to be seen, feel safe, and share our understanding and approach to dance; embodiment, movement, strength, open-hearted play, and vulnerability. Fearlessness and inspirational displays of movement are at the crux of this gathering. There will be two categories in which to dance. First a classic solo Ecstatic Dance and second, duos via contact improv/fusion. With an all-star collection of epic community judges, dancers will move forward based on their level of freedom, fearlessness, exploration, and play! This pseudo-competition is all about community vibes and recreating the Ecstatic movement container by bringing in a higher level of witness and honoring of each other.
