SAFTA Presents STUDENT'S NIGHT OUT: The Nile PROJECT! For just $9, UC
BERKELEY STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO JOIN CAL PERFORMANCES AND THE STUDENT
AMBASSADORS FOR THE ARTS FOR A FREE RECEPTION PRIOR TO THE NILE
PROJECT CONCERT ON FEB 19! The party will be held within the stage
door section of Zellerbach, allowing STUDENTS TO GET A BACKSTAGE VIEW
OF THE HALL, and will feature a selection of Egyptian desserts*, tea
and coffee. Attire is semi-casual. STUDENTS *must* hold a ticket to
the evening's concert in order to attend the pre-party. Tickets are
available at the Ticket Office located in Zellerbach Hall and a valid
UCB ID is required! Ask for a ticket in the STUDENT SECTION FOR JUST

Nile PROJECT: The Nile PROJECT IS A COLLABORATION OF MUSICIANS FROM
SUDAN, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Uganda. The group has been
actively involved in raising awareness of the cultural and
environmental challenges facing residents along the Nile River. Their
debut album, Aswan, was featured on NPR's "5 Must- Hear International
Albums" list. The colorful message and diverse culture of the group
has solidified its name as a unique fixture in world music. Questions?
