The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) Performing Arts Division
(PERF) is delighted to invite the public to a vibrant and joyful
CELEBRATION WHERE TWO INCREDIBLE EVENTS UNITE FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY
OF MUSIC, DANCE, culture, and sustainability! EARTH BLOOM: Holi MUSIC
AND DANCE CELEBRATION IS A FUSION OF INDIAN AMERICAN MUSIC AND DANCE,
Holi: the Indian festival of colors, and EARTH DAY, bringing together
the spirit of community, nature, and cultural diversity in a beautiful
outdoor park setting. This exciting event features: Live MUSIC AND
DANCE RESPECTED ARTISTS AND GURUS FROM THE INDIAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY
BRING KATHAK, Bharatanatyam, Kalari, and Tabla to the stage in live
performances throughout the day! We are proud to announce the
commissioned artists for this event: Rangoli DANCE COMPANY, Soorya
Foundation Ensemble, Indian Performing Art Center, Navarasa DANCE
THEATRE, Nupur Academy LA, Sona Lewis, Dhoon DANCE, and Liberate
Elemental Forces. Holi Festival of Colors Throw Come dressed in white
and prepare to be showered in bright, colorful powders as we celebrate
the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Delicious
Food Indulge in a variety of Indian American cuisine from local food
vendors, offering everything from spicy street food to traditional
sweets. Cultural Booths Discover the richness of Indian American
culture through arts, crafts, and activities. Explore the vibrant
world of India, traditional attire, and more. Vendor Booths Browse
through Indian American and eco-conscious vendors offering unique
goods, handmade crafts, and sustainable products. EARTH DAY \&
Sustainability Booths Learn about environmental conservation,
sustainability practices, and ways to protect our planet with fun and
educational exhibits. Family-Friendly This event is for all ages, with
plenty of activities for kids, families, and anyone who loves to
celebrate culture and the environment. Dont miss out on this lively,
colorful, and eco-conscious CELEBRATION OF LIFE, MUSIC, and our shared
responsibility to protect the EARTH! Come for the culture, stay for
the colors, and leave with a heart full of joy and a deeper connection
to the planet. This event supports the vision of the CANOGA PARK Arts
