Paint & Sip

Join us for an astronomically fun evening at Chabot Space & Science Center’s PAINT & Sip Series! In this instructor-guided workshop, guests will PAINT A GLOWING CRESCENT MOON INSPIRED BY REAL LUNAR SCIENCE, exploring how sunlight, shadow, and viewing angle shape what we see from Earth. Your ticket includes two drink tickets for wine or beer, along with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Whether you’re with friends, a special someone, or flying solo this 21+ event is the perfect way to relax, sip, nibble, and create a starry masterpiece. Using a limited acrylic palette, participants will focus on bold contrast and luminous color, building star fields, atmospheric clouds or nebulae, and optional silhouetted elements to complete a striking night-sky scene.
