Description Learn the Olympic sport of foil fencing. Students learn how to move, attack, and defend themselves while learning about priority and right-of-way rules that are a cornerstone of foil fencing. Emphasis is placed on developing balance, coordination, and quick decision making. Classes are hands-on and highly interactive. An essential starter kit is around $250-$300 (depending on options) and must be purchased prior to the first class. Inquire at South Coast Fencing Center. A $29 material fee must be paid directly to the US Fencing Association to cover insurance costs. Attend 1x a week.
