This weekend long class will prepare you to begin your career as a
birth doula. This is an excellent place to start your journey in
birth work. We will cover basic anatomy, physiology of birth,
prenatal and postpartum care as a doula, techniques and skills for
support and advocacy during labor/birth and how to set up and get your
doula business off the ground. When you have completed this course
you will receive a certificate of completion and you will be ready to
support your first client and their family as a doula. Classes are
held from 9 am -5pm, Saturday and Sunday.
There will be light breakfast items, coffee and tea available as well
as snacks through out the day. Please bring a lunch. Classes are
held in Penngrove, California.
