_SUPPORT FOR SUPPORTERS: TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE YOUR WORK
PRODUCTIVITY (LA)_Have you wanted to learn about Google Apps and
other online technology tools, but don’t know where to start? In
this hands-on and interactive workshop, you will explore and practice
with online tools and resources available through Google Apps and
Chrome to improve your work productivity. Geared for Administrative
Assistants and other support staff that have a Gmail account, Google
Apps, Google Calendar, and have access to the Google Chrome browser
(available free online), to help executives and managers at any level
to increase their efficiency and effectiveness. Overwork, stress and
franticness have a cause and, once under control, actual productivity
will replace uncontrolled, counterproductive motion. This workshop
will give you precise, applicable technology tools and tips ready for
immediate implementation.
This workshop will focus on online TECHNOLOGY TOOLS IN 3 AREAS:
* Communication: email, appointment setting and management, and
information gathering.
* Time management: calendaring, reminders and task management, to-do
lists, and more.
* Work productivity: information collection and organization, file
management, task completion, and Google Forms.
_Note: A laptop or other device is not required. However, if you use
a laptop for work, you are highly encouraged to bring it to this
workshop._
