CLASS DESCRIPTIONPerformance capture, motion capture, and facial
capture in entertainment is growing at a rapid rate. Do you know the
difference? Do you know how your audition submissions should differ
between them? Video games and future technology are looking for actors
who can blend naturally between the VO booth and the motion capture
stage. In this class, voice and performance capture casting director,
Julia Bianco Schoeffling, will give you a basic understanding of what
casting and hiring teams are looking for in submissions. Part
informational discussion with Q&A and part mock-audition format, each
actor will be asked to prepare a pre-selected scene which will be
workshopped in-class. No capture suits will be donned in this
audition, but it will take place at the casting studio Julia uses for
some of her auditions!
The class is limited to 10 people
