This BAKING CAMP WILL INTRODUCE YOUNG CHILDREN TO DIFFERENT BAKING
STYLES AND TECHNIQUES. The camp is very hands on, and encourages
children to learn to follow recipes and get creative. We will get busy
BAKING CUPCAKES AND LEARNING DECORATING TECHNIQUES, making cake pops
from scratch, working with chocolate in different ways and making our
own Bread! Day 1
Chocolate chocolate chocolate…
We will learn the technique of making chocolate mousse from scratch.
We will make ganache and assemble a beautiful dessert.
We will make chocolate Rugelach - A flaky East European pastry, filled
with Belgian chocolate. All-natural heaven!
Day 2
Cupcake time.
We will crack eggs, mix ingredients and make cupcakes from scratch.
While cupcakes are baking, we will make Buttercream frosting, color
different batches and prepare for decorating.
We will make fondant decorations for our cupcakes.
We will decorate our cupcakes using all the pieces we prepared.
Day 3-
It’s cake pops day!
Learn about Tal’s take on cake pops, the different types and some
tips for success.
We will make chocolate cake pops as well as cookie and cream cake pops
from scratch, decorate them in different creative ways, and even wrap
some to take home.
Day 4-
Who doesn’t love fresh Bread?
We will start the day by learning about bread, the ingredients and the
magic that goes into creating this lovely staple food.
We will shape our own loaves of Challah (a wonderful egg bread), proof
and bake them.
We will make challah Pizzas for lunch.
