The Confucius Institute, part of Global Affairs, presents music, dance, drink and food —including traditional moon cakes (pictured) — in a UC Davis version of the second grandest festival in China after the Chinese New Year. The Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as the Moon Festival, because it comes at a time when the moon is at its roundest and brightest.
