ITEMS SAVED FROM THE LANDFILL: paper, cardboard, cardstock, thread. SKILLS LEARNED: book binding, signature folding This workshop will introduce you to book making techniques needed to create your own book with reused materials.You will have the opportunity to create a cover for your book by reusing beautiful fabrics and papers from SCRAP's archive. Participants will leave with their own one-of-a-kind book, as well as the skills and knowledge to make more books in the future. This class is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a paid adult. -- _Class Policy_ Cancellation Policy:_ SCRAP reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule classes to adjust for enrollment. If SCRAP cancels a class, you may transfer to another class or receive a full refund._ Refund Policy:_ Notice of withdrawal from a workshop must be made at least 7 days prior to the start of the class and your full amount will be refunded. No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after that time. No refunds or credits will be given for classes missed due to illness, personal conflict or other reasons. There are no exceptions to this policy.
