The CAREER ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM PREPARES STUDENTS FOR POST-graduation CAREER SUCCESS! Are you completing your degree with a career-related goal in mind? Join in the annual Career Achievement Program to prepare for your next steps after college! The Career Achievement Program (CAP) offers you the opportunity to learn and practice vital career skills. CAP will take place in three exciting phases: CAREER CONFERENCE: FEBRUARY 21 This is an interactive event in which you will become proficient in how to: o Write targeted resumes and cover letters for job applications o Ace a job interview o Become an expert in professional appearance, behavior, and communication o Master business dining etiquette o Build your professional network through in-person and online connections o Leverage LinkedIn for job searching and professional networking MOCK INTERVIEWS: MARCH 24, 25 OR 26 Practice your interview skills in mock interviews with local employers from your target industry NETWORKING LUNCHEON: MARCH 31 Practice dining etiquette and professional networking with local employers from your target industry SPACE IS LIMITED, REGISTER TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT! Students who may have schedule conflicts with classes or work study are encouraged to speak with a Career Counselor regarding options they may have to accommodate their schedule.
