DOORS OPEN 6PM / SEATING STARTS 6:45PM / SHOW STARTS AT 7PMJoin
Central California native, Edward Hernandez, for a Deftones tribute
unlike any other -- on the ukulele.
As the first ukulele performer to cover Deftones on YouTube, this show
is Hernandez’s love letter to the instrument and the genius of the
cutting-edge band. Hernandez has performed at the likes of the Reno
Ukulele Festival and SF Uketoberfest, he also won Ukulele Magazine’s
2013 Holly Jolly contest and 2014 fall contest.
Hernandez has been playing music since he was nine years old. In
total, he plays more than 10 instruments and has toured the country
with a number of Central Valley bands, performing at places such as
Dodger Stadium, the House of Blues, and the Conga Room. Hernandez will
perform some of his original compositions and be joined by Jion Jugo,
who will open the show.
We’ll have a full bar and food truck when doors open at 6pm. Stop by
to see ukulele company Tyde Music’s booth and artist JohnnyIsLost.
