Drop into a state of deep relaxation while practicing yoga NIDRA, or
“yogic sleep.” Practiced laying down, this easy-to-follow
technique is highly accessible and enjoyed by both beginner and
advanced meditators alike. The class is faciliated by Sydney
Cutler-Abich. Practicing Yoga Nidra meditation for the past ten years
has enabled Sydney to experience greater inner peace, better sleep,
improved health, and to become more present in her every day
life. Forever transformed by these profound experiences,
she traveled to the esteemed Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in
Stockton, Massachusetts to study with Jennifer Reis, the creator of
Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra where Sydney became a certified Divine
Sleep® Yoga Nidra guide in 2016. She continues to study with gifted
teachers and healers, and is eternally grateful for their wisdom on
this path that has chosen her. She also holds a Bachelor of Science
from Boston University and a Master's of Social Work with a healthcare
concentration from Barry University, and has been a clinical social
worker for the past twenty years. She believes in the transformative
power of both Eastern and Western wellness practices, music, healing
touch, nature, love, compassion, and community.
