Description At Camp SAN JOSE your child will participate in an
unforgettable camp experience combining camp traditions with enriching
and educational activities. The campers will participate in games,
sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, and sing funny songs
while ensuring CDC safety measures. Price includes a low leader to
child ratio of 1:10, skill building, new friendships, learning
projects and much more! *Families opting not to participate in field
trips are responsible for finding alternative care for their
child(ren) not attending the trip. The City will not provide a
prorated refund for those that elect not to participate, nor will
onsite care be available. Campers need to bring water, lunch* and
sunscreen each day. *Check with your local community center for a
complete list of field trips, lunch programs, scholarships, and
payment plans. Each Camp SAN JOSE session runs for 1 week. *Safety is
our main priority, and we will continue to follow all Santa Clara

are subject to change. Final payment for camp is due three weeks
before the first day of camp (Monday, May 12, 2025) Late Pick Up
Policy If you have an emergency and are unable to pick up on time,
please contact the site phone number or supervising Community Center.
Campers must be picked up at the scheduled program end time. If, after
five minutes, a camper is not picked up, we may charge $1.00 per
camper for every minute thereafter. If fees are not paid within 1 week
of the late pickup date, your camper will be suspended until the fee
has been paid. Fees can be paid by cash or check at the supervising
Community Center. Please make checks payable to “City of San
José.” Excessive late pick-ups will result in the removal from the
program with no refund. Excessive late pick-ups defined as 5 (five) or
more in one month. Emergency contact information will be used in the
case of late pick ups or emergencies. In the case of late pick ups,
City of San José staff will proceed with the following steps. Contact
Parent or Guardian. Contact Emergency contacts. Contact CPS or PD.
Once SJPD and/or CPS have been contacted, your child must remain on
site until they arrive. Payment Plans Policy $50 secures a space for a
one-week camp. Scholarship recipients need to pay $25 to secure a
space for a one-week camp. Final payment for the camp is due three
weeks before the first day of camp. Refund and Transfer Policy All
refund and transfer requests need to be made in writing. Refunds may
be submitted in person to any PRNS facility or by email to
SJRegistration@sanjoseca.gov Refunds and transfers may not be done
online. Transfers must be requested for classes in the same season.
All refunds and transfer requests must be received at least 14
calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. No refunds will
be issued for cancellations received less than 14 calendar days prior
to the start of the program/class. There will be a $10 refund
processing fee for EACH activity and EACH child. If a class was paid
with cash or check, a refund check will be mailed and may take 6-8 for
processing. If a class was paid with a credit card, the refund will be
credited back to the credit card. Minimum Enrollment & Class
Cancellation The City of San José reserves the right to cancel any
class or activity that does not meet a set minimum enrollment. Please
register early to avoid class cancellations. We will make every effort
to notify you of a cancellation at least five days prior to the
