Tiffany Haddish, Nikki Glaser, Billy Gardell, Andy Kindler, and Irene Tu Perform at 3rd Annual Friendly House Comedy Fundraiser

Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Nikki Glaser (Not Safe with Nikki Glaser), Billy Gardell (Bob Hearts Abishola, Mike & Molly), Andy Kindler (Bob's Burger), Irene Tu (Netflix Is A Joke Fest), and other prominent guests will attend the 3rd annual Friendly House Comedy Fundraiser. The afternoon will be hosted by Kennelia Stradwick (Netflix Is A Joke Fest). Guests will gather at The Bourbon Room in Hollywood to support Friendly House, a residential, nonprofit program for women recovering from substance and alcohol abuse

When women recover, the world recovers. For 73 years, Friendly House has been on the frontlines saving women’s lives with a 12-step based program structured to help each woman reclaim her dignity and acquire the knowledge, skills, support, and resources needed to maintain apurposeful and productive life. The organization has been a leader and a champion for the empowerment and recovery of women of all gender experiences and racial and ethnic backgrounds, especially those from historically excluded communities. The non-profit program provides culturally responsive evidence based, attainable treatment to women with or without resources. 

Today Friendly House is a state licensed and JCAHO accredited treatment center offering a full continuum of care in detox, residential and sober living, The organization is solely supported by private donations and grants, by the fundraising efforts of the Board of Directors, Grateful Hearts (former residents of Friendly House), and special events such as our Comedy Festivals and Annual Awards Luncheon. 

Join us for an afternoon of laughter, support and healing to benefit the first residential substance abuse recovery program created by women for women. Guests will enjoy side-splitting performances by A-list comics such Emmy- Award winner Tiffany Haddish, Emmy- Award nominee Billy Gardell, and Critics Choice nominee, Nikki Glaser. 

To additionally support the cause, onsite guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a photo Meet & Greet with Tiffany Haddish, as well as purchase raffle tickets where the grand prize includes an exclusive three-hour Game Night hosted by Tiffany Haddish at the Friendly House Sober Living! Raffle tickets can only be purchased in-person at the April 7 event by attendees of the Comedy Fundraiser.

The 3rd annual comedy fundraiser will be held on the second floor of the The Bourbon Room on Hollywood Blvd., all proceeds will benefit Friendly House Los Angeles and women in substance abuse recovery. Guests who can’t make it to the show can still support Friendly House by purchasing a “donate a ticket”! Every contribution counts towards our mission. 21 and over with ID required for entry.
