Books & Art: Poem Print Workshop

Tuesdays,  April 15 and May 2010:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. *The San Diego Museum of Art (SDMA) Library* EXPLORE LANGUAGE, LETTERS, AND COLOR THROUGH A POEM PRINT . Join Museum educators as they guide you through a PRINTING ACTIVITY INSPIRED BY SELECTIONS OF CARL ANDRE’s _Yucatan_ series, currently on view in the _american minimal_ [https://www.sdmart.org/exhibition/american-minimal/] exhibition. Create a larger print that resembles Andre’s typewritten prints using stamps and colorful ink. Consider bringing a poem or song lyrics to work from.
