existing members remain involved, and refers prospective members

What is an Ambassador, and what do they do?
Ambassadors actively promote the Irvine Chamber of Commerce in the
business community by referring prospective members to the Chamber and
working with new Chamber members to connect them to the organization
and existing members to help them stay involved.
Ambassadors have a high-visibility role within the Chamber, serving as
hosts at Chamber events and activities. They greet and introduce new
members and guests to Chamber members, answer questions about
membership and participation, and represent the Chamber by attending
business celebrations, mixers, and other Chamber events.
Ambassadors are mentors. Each mentor one or more new member each
month, and making a follow-up contact a month later to be maximize a
positive Chamber experience. Ambassadors deliver the official
new-member packages and plaques, orienting new members about various
