Description Instructor approval required to participate in this class.
To ensure that your child is playing at the appropriate level for this
class, a brief evaluation may be arranged to determine if placement in
this class is appropriate. Please call the Community Classes & Camps
Office at 310-458-2239 to arrange an evaluation. Players will prepare
to compete in SATELLITE TENNIS TOURNAMENTS. SATELLITE - For players
who are ready to progress from the Novice level and have the ability
to sustain longer rallies that last an average of 8 shots. All
students must bring a new can of balls and TENNIS RACKET TO CLASS.
Rubber soled athletic shoes must be worn. Students wearing
non-athletic shoes will not be permitted to participate. PRIORITY
ONLINE REGISTRATION (for SANTA MONICA RESIDENTS ONLY) runs November 6
(6 am) through November 12. Non-resident registration opens November
13. REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each
activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer
requests must be made in writing to the program supervisor in person
or by fax (310-899-0840), mail, or email (communityclasses@smgov.net).
Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the
first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are
nonrefundable. REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting
from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via
online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for
each activity session refunded. CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at
the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed
by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum
enrollment is not met. All class dates, times, locations, and
