Join Jeny on TUESDAYS AT NOON FOR YIN YOGA & SOUND HEALING, a practice
of self-care to harmonize body and mind at BUDDHI YOGA. Come practice
in our bright and open studio with floor-to-ceiling windows, friendly
community and all good vibes.Yin Yoga recognizes that our anatomy
varies, especially at the skeletal level. Jeny’s classes are
designed to help you understand the unique physical differences of
each person, while providing a space to explore your individual
body’s range of motion. Each student learns how to adapt postures
for their body to experience optimal benefits.
Yin is an introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward
and nurture the calm, quiet center that is innate in all of us. Most
postures are seated or reclined with 3-7 minute holds. Holding each
posture while relaxing the muscles allows the deeper, dense connective
tissues to be safely and therapeutically stretched, stimulated, and
strengthened.
This style of yoga will challenge the mind to remain present while
physically and mentally releasing tension. Sound healing, when used in
combination with Yin Yoga, reduces stress and anxiety, and encourages
positive effects on the nervous system, sleep cycle, mood, and immune
system. The vibration and frequency of the instruments helps to relax
and let go of tension.
Expect to leave this class relaxed and renewed with a sense of calm
energy. Beginner friendly – open to all levels!
