Celebration of LIFE for Becky Rice

Please join us on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 to celebrate the life of Becky Rice.  We promised her this would be a “festive” occasion filled full of love.  We take great comfort in knowing she is dancing in heaven, free of any illness and is surrounded by all of the rescue animals she has helped through the years. Please feel free to bring and photos of any rescue pups Becky brought into your “furever” family.  OR you may email the photos to:  Tracie@goodandyummy.com.  

We will be hosting the Open house at our home.  PLEASE RSVP if you plan on attending so we can organize catering accordingly. 

In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate a donation to the foundation we are starting in her name so we may carry on her legacy of helping others (both two legged and four). Link provided below:

UPDATE FOR PARKING:

Due to the overwhelming (& truly lovely) response from people wanting to attend, we’ve decided to offer a free shuttle service. 

PARKING can be incredibly tricky (and hilly) in our neighborhood.  If you don’t want to do the shuttle, we strongly suggest people carpool and/or Uber. 

We will be reserving the driveway for those who need handicap parking assistance.

The driveway will be blocked but we will leave space for people to pull-in for drop offs. 

Shuttle service starting at 4PM.  Meet at the Park and Ride (5480 Bancroft Drive, La Mesa 91941) which is directly behind the La Mesa Firestation on the corner of Bancroft and Grossmont. Shuttle driver will be making return trips the entire duration of the event. You may reach the driver via text if you are waiting at the lot for more than 10 minutes: 619.251.7371.
