Welcome to The Laguna Hill's Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints! Our Sunday services are centered on worshiping
Jesus Christ, building community, and deepening our understanding of
God’s plan for us. While there are many similarities with other
Christian services, there are also unique elements that reflect our
faith and practices. Our services begin with Sacrament Meeting (at
12pm), a one-hour gathering open to all. This is our main worship
service, where families and individuals of all ages sit together. The
meeting includes prayers, congregational hymns, and talks given by
members of the congregation rather than professional clergy. A central
part of this meeting is the sacrament, or communion, where bread and
water are blessed and passed to the congregation to commemorate the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ. After Sacrament Meeting, we invite visitors
to join us in smaller classes (1 to 2pm) tailored to different age
groups. Adults, youth, and children meet for Sunday School in
age-appropriate classes, where we study the scriptures and discuss how
to apply Christ's teachings in our daily lives.
