Fuego Celebrates ‘Cinco De Maya,’ Mayan God Of Intoxication ‘Acan’ Inspires Celebration

It’s a FUEGO FIESTA FOR THIS YEAR’s “CINCO DE MAYA” CELEBRATION AT HOTEL MAYA WITH A VARIETY OF DRINK AND FOOD SPECIALS AND EXCITING GIVEAWAYS THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND LIVE SALSA MUSIC IN THE EARLY EVENING ON THURSDAY, May 5.Hotel Maya honors “Acan,” the Mayan God of intoxication, wine and the art of brewing, with a spirited Cinco de Maya celebration in Fuego featuring the following fiesta favorites: - Live Salsa music by the 4-piece Susan Hansen Latin Band from 5-9 p.m. - Street Taco Station offering tacos and roasted corn on the cob for $2 each with the choice of cilantro jalapeno grilled skirt steak, seasoned chicken and marinated barbacoa, along with a trio of homemade salsas, cilantro aioli and shredded lemon cabbage from 5-9 p.m. - Make Your Own Guacamole Bar with a variety of complimentary ingredients such as chipotle, bacon and pomegranate, as well as fresh tortilla chips and a trio of homemade salsas from 5-9 p.m. - Cointreau Margarita presenting complimentary samplings of margaritas from 6-8 p.m. - Manos de Calaca brewery presenting complimentary samplings of three beers from 6-8 p.m. - Fuego specialty margaritas, $5, and various Mexican beers, $3, served all day. - An assortment of Fuego and Hotel Maya pinatas and prizes throughout the day.
