HOTEL MAYA ON SUNDAY, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along with live
Latin jazz on the seaside patio. FUEGO WILL ALSO FEATURE A KIDS’
station to decorate a MOTHER’s Day cookie for mom and a variety of
activities at an arts and crafts area.Executive Chef Victor Juarez has
prepared a magnificent Mother’s Day Brunch beginning with an
assortment of Salads and Displays featuring Market Salads, Crab and
Avocado Salad, Heart of Palm Salad; Baby Romaine Salad, Cannellini and
Green Bean Salad, and Quinoa Tabbouleh Style; and Grilled Vegetable
Anti-Pasto, Cheese and Charcuterie, Heirloom Tomato and Mozzarella
Cheese and Exotic Fresh Fruit and Berries.
Fuego’s Seafood Display offers jumbo gulf shrimp, Alaskan king crab
legs, and smoked seafood; in addition to Ceviche featuring bay
scallops, mahi mahi and shrimp, along with chipotle cocktail sauce.
An Omelet & Waffle Station presents omelets and waffles made to order,
with traditional condiments, along with applewood smoked bacon and
chicken cilantro sausage.
Fuego’s Taco Station features fresh selection of grilled skirt
steak, cilantro jalapeño chicken and mahi mahi; menonita cheese
stuffed jalapeño peppers; and mini assorted pupusas, pickled cabbage
with fresh homemade salsas.
Mother’s Day Entrées offer a selection of Fuego Eggs Benedict with
spinach, bacon, and hollandaise sauce with roasted potatoes and
caramelized plantains; Grilled Lamb Chops and Yucca Root with red
chimichurri; Mahi-Mahi with pineapple-serrano pico de gallo; Pollo a
la Plancha with chipotle adobo; or Pepper Crusted New York Steak with
paella rice and spring vegetables.
A delicious Mother’s Day Dessert Extravaganza with miniature
desserts to include crème brule, Parisian macaroons, chocolate
eclairs, fruit tarts, grand marnier cream puffs, pistachio chocolate
strawberries, Mexican wedding cookies and metropolitan caramel flan;
along with assorted mini cheese cakes and key lime tarts, and more.
Mother’s Day Brunch guests will enjoy a complimentary welcome Mimosa
or Bloody Mary, along with coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice
and soft drinks.
