The Pasadena Doo Dah Parade is also known as the 'twisted sister' of
the more conventional Rose Parade, held in Pasadena,
California. Starting in 1978, the parade is an eclectic and
irreverent event in which pretty much most things go. Pasadena Doo
Dah Parade takes place annually in mid-November and it has previously
been voted as 'America's Best Parade' by Readers Digest.Many of the
groups taking part in the parade are doing so to raise funds for
