SCS Noonan Alumni Professional Development: Level Up!

LEVEL UP! with the SCS NOONAN SCHOLARS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION THE SCS NOONAN SCHOLARS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IS HERE TO PRESENT A THREE SESSION PROGRAMMING EVENT AIMED TO HELP YOU DEVELOP THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND NETWORK TO ACCELERATE YOUR CAREERS. SESSION 1: LEVEL UP! (February 2020) This session will focus on strategies and tactics for negotiating salary increases and job promotions. Through interactive exercises alumni will learn how to identify and communicate their value proposition, own their voice and strategies for getting to YES! Facilitator: Karen Williams Karen Williams joins SCS Noonan Scholars as National Director of Career Development. She is a seasoned executed with extensive management experience in the private sector, higher education, and non-profit. Most recently Karen served as Director of Alumni Professional Development for Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and Executive Director for the UCLA Anderson School of Management Center for Management of Enterprise in Media, Entertainment & Sports. Prior to joining UCLA Anderson School of Management, Karen spent twenty years in senior marketing roles working for blue chip companies including Disney-ABC, Time Warner, and Johnson & Johnson. Karen serves on the board of Women in Cable Telecommunication (WICT) Southern California and the UCLA Anderson Alumni Board. Williams graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and received her MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is a California native and resides in Los Angeles.
