His ability to infuse contemporary elements into classic techniques sets him apart and allows him to create a style that is uniquely his own.  The exhibition showcases many works on paper that are fully realized studies produced from Hammond's almost obsessive sketching, imbuing the pieces with a raw and intuitive energy.
