How often are these photo shoots?Once per month for clinicians whose photo appears on the stanfordchildrens.org website.
How do I know if my photo is on the stanfordchildrens.org website?The easiest way to find out is to go to stanfordchildrens.org and type your name in the search bar.
Can I come in multiple times to have my photo taken?Due to cost, we ask you only attend one photo shoot.
How long will the photo shoot will take?Usually no more than 10-15 minutes depending upon the number of people waiting in front of you.
Are there recommendations on what I should or shouldn’t wear?It’s best to wear solid, neutral-tone clothing with minimal jewelry and subtle tie/scarf patterns. If you’re going to wear solid white, make sure to have an accessory (sweater, vest) or layered look to complement. Try NOT to wear scrubs or lab coats, turtlenecks or very bright colors such as orange, green, black, etc.
What happens after I take the photo?The marketing team will select the most flattering photo and will have it retouched. It will take approximately 3 weeks to retouch then upload your photo to the stanfordchildrens.org website.
Can I get a copy of my photo?Yes, one retouched, high-resolution photo will be emailed to you.
