The Oakdale Climbers Festival is a historical symposium centered
around climbing history. The 2018 Festival starts with a memorial
celebration of the life and climbs of Royal Robbins and Tom Frost on
Friday evening from 5-9pm with the doors opening at 4pm. There is no
admission charge for the Friday program. On Saturday and Sunday from

Climbing in Yosemite and we will be examining the history of big wall
climbing in Yosemite during the 1950s and 60s. Yosemite climbers of
record will be discussing their pioneering adventures with image
support and are available for questions and social interaction in
between presentations. Admission to the Saturday and Sunday program is
