HURTCORE (SHORT FILM)

Our goal is to start funding private screenings for our SHORT AS A WAY TO SPREAD AWARENESS FOR CHILD ABUSE, sex trafficking, and torture pornography on the dark web. Our screenings will include Q&A sessions, as well as spoken presentations by abuse survivors and advocates for the Child Lives Matter movement.Funds will be used to finance multiple private screenings at such venues as AMC in Orange County and Ventura, as well as private theaters in Hollywood and Los Angeles and all over the globe. We will be releasing our short film on iTunes the end of November. We are raising awareness for child abuse, sex trafficking, and torture pornography on the dark web. The term hurtcore refers to an extreme form of pornography, usually involving degrading violence and child sexual abuse. Pedophiles and torture porn enthusiasts can pay up to $10,000 per video or photo content and according to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children), in 2019 alone, the CyberTipline reports included 69.1 million images, videos and other files related to child sexual exploitation. The average age of child sex trafficking victims reported missing is only 15 years old. Our short film focuses on this horrifying subject matter through the eyes of two different families. After researching the dark web, plus reading various reports of missing and/or abducted children, we as filmmakers, felt compelled to tell an original story that gets to the heart of why these tragedies take place.
