Hi friends,This group meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month - we re
a support group and mindfulness workshop using breathwork as our tool!
Living with a chronic condition isn’t easy; it takes resilience,
creativity, a sense of humor and, of course, lots of strength. The
emotional side effects of chronic pain – frustration, anxiety,
depression, isolation; are tough. Connecting with others who
experience similar feelings can help us cope and feel less alone.
Join us to share what you experience, learn from others, develop
coping skills, engage in relaxation techniques: guided imagery,
meditation, breathing exercises; and most importantly, develop
friendship and support.
We spend a portion of each meeting practicing conscious breathing, we
will go on a journey together. Breathwork is a powerful & innate
healing tool. Breathing consciously immediately quiets down the
nervous system and restores our body s rest and repair functions.
This group is for anyone coping with an autoimmune disease, chronic
illness, and/or chronic pain or disability. Family members,
significant others and caregivers are welcome to attend and
participate in the group.

ABOUT THE BREATHWORK:
We all have the wisdom inside us. We all have the divine truth within
us. You have all the answers. Breathe deep and start your journey
towards what need to unfold on your healing path.
Trust your body and may the breath be your guide.
Conscious connected breath as a tool to spiritual awakening, healing
and relaxation, allow us to connect deeply with our body, emotions and
memories.
In our sessions we create a safe space for this inner work, so you can
drop deeper into what is waiting for you. If you feel, set up an
intention for this session and breath into it with us.
Music as an important part of the process will guide us trough the
session. Time to fully relax, ground and integrate whole experience.
Bring with you:
warm comfortable clothes,
warm socks
bottle of water
blanket (if possible)
yoga mat (if possible)
For the 30 minute breath session, we will transition to lying on yoga
mats on the floor, we will get nice and cozy. If your level of
abilities leads you to be more comfortable to remain seated in a chair
seat you are of course welcome to do so.
This is about you, it is your time and we support your safety and
comfort completely.
