Annual Open House & Throwdown

Our ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE AND THROWDOWN BRINGS BAY AREA CERAMICISTS TOGETHER FOR AN AFTERNOON OF FRIENDLY COMPETITION, hands-on making, and shared creativity. Bring your friends and family, and come join us!  Watch as local potters go head-to-head in a series of timed wheel-throwing challenges, testing skill, speed, and creativity — plus lighthearted "crowd favorite" games designed to get everyone laughing. Prizes are awarded throughout, and the event welcomes makers of all skill levels, from first-timers to longtime studio members.  Get your hands into some clay and add to our collaborative community piece, make beautiful jewelry with handmade ceramic beads, participate in our raffle, and tour our beautiful new studio.  Studio tours, friendly competition, and prizes worth showing up for.
